FAQ

How often do you update the site?

We used to add a new video every week, during the week-end (see the Weekly Cassette series). However, it grew harder and harder to keep up with it along with full time work. Also, we were less and less satisfied with the overall quality of our movies. This is why we decided to take a break. We will be back under a new format of videos in a few months, and hopefully we will be more satisfied with the quality of our films!

In addition to the videos, we will also try post some blogs (keyword is try). We do not have any schedule on when we will post new ones. Making the videos is very time consuming and we are only doing this site as a hobby since Seb is working full time and Louis is busy with his Graphic Design company and his studies. This is why we do not want to commit on a blogging schedule. Consider the blog posts as bonus content!

I love your stuff so much that I would like to link to you guys on my site. Can I?

Well, of course! If you do, thank you. We are currently working on a few sample images to for you guys to use to link back to us.

Why does some users have an image when they post comments and I don’t?

The image is a Gravatar. It’s linked to the email address you submit your comment with. Simply register on the Gravatar website and set your personnal image. It will display on most WordPress blog when you post comment using the linked email address.

I am having issues viewing your videos… what should I do?

If you have issues viewing the videos, please contact us to explain the issues. Send us a quick email (contact @ internetcassette.com) mentioning if this issue is isolated to a specific video or all the videos. We are new to video conversion and it might be that the settings we are using to output our videos are bad.

Keep in mind that it might also be temporary issues related to our video host experiencing some technical difficulties. If this is the case, it should be solved quickly.

We had some feedback from users saying that when they are using ad blocking software the videos were not showing. If this is the case for you, try disabling your ad blocker software while trying to view videos.

Your website is not displaying correctly… what’s up with that?

It’s possible that the website is not compatible with your browser (IE6 for example). Please consider upgrading to a more recent version of Internet Explorer or another browser  (Firefox, Chrome, Safari). Our design is also optimized for a display size of at least 1024×768. If you really enjoy the site and it’s not possible for you to view the site correctly with your computer settings, please contact us. If we get enough request we will consider making an alternate layout with lower system requirements.

If you notice weird bugs on the website, please send us a screenshot and tell us as much info as possible (like your browser + version, screen resolution if you know it). We’ll try to find the problem and fix it as soon as possible.
